Back to presentation ↗EMBODIED DATA / SOURCE RIGHTS / NOTICE VERSION 1.1
Online source.
Original rights.
The Webster demonstration uses online source footage, processed for motion extraction and robot retargeting. Original rights remain with their respective owners.
Webster source & removal requests
The source footage was obtained from online sources. HIYIO has processed it for human motion extraction, robot retargeting, privacy editing and technical comparison. Copyright and other rights in the original material remain with the respective rights holders.
If you believe that the source footage, processed preview or downloadable output infringes your rights, please contact contact@hiyio.com to request removal. Include the relevant page or file link and a brief explanation. We will promptly review your request and remove any infringing material.
Processing does not transfer the original rights to HIYIO or grant additional rights to users. This notice specifically concerns the online-source Webster example; other samples retain their own source terms.
Purpose and reliability
This is a technical preview for review and discussion. Inventory figures and acceptance references do not guarantee a future delivery, dataset-wide quality or commercial availability. Read the full disclaimer before relying on a sample.
Evaluation and research
HIYIO permits internal evaluation and non-commercial research only in contributions it owns or is authorized to license. Commercial use, public redistribution, resale and production deployment of those contributions require a separate written agreement. Underlying third-party permissions must also be obtained.
Source rights come first
Partner recordings, supplied BVH motion, additional robot trajectories and original footage are not declared to be owned entirely by HIYIO. A downstream source license has not been established for these materials in this preview. Download access and privacy editing do not supply that permission. Express third-party licenses and separate written agreements continue to govern their own material.
Estimated motion and physical safety
Reconstructed pose is an estimate. Kinematic retargeting and replay do not establish stable control or safe hardware execution. The three-panel recording is approximately aligned for comparison. Validate conventions, calibration, timing, robot limits and control behavior before any physical test.
Privacy, attribution and changes
Editing visible identifiers does not certify anonymization, consent or reuse rights. Do not attempt re-identification. Retain HIYIO and original-source notices with permitted copies, identify modifications and avoid implying endorsement.
No warranty
Materials are provided AS IS and AS AVAILABLE, subject to the limitations in LICENSE.txt. Accuracy, completeness, suitability and safety are not warranted. Rights and liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
What travels with a download
Local download buttons deliver ZIP packages containing the original data payload plus LICENSE.txt, NOTICE.txt, DISCLAIMER.txt, THIRD_PARTY_DATA_NOTICES.txt and a file-hash manifest. Numerical payloads are unchanged. Publisher-hosted Chingmu CSV links remain at the publisher and are governed by its source terms.
Third-party references
Chingmu / MotionDecode: publisher-hosted samples retain Chingmu attribution and the publisher's use limits. Read the source terms ↗
SMPL-X: human-body visualization technology is credited to the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems. Pavlakos et al., CVPR 2019. The model/software terms and separate body terms cover different materials; neither is replaced by HIYIO's notice.
Viewer software: preserve the robot viewer notices and human viewer notices. Software licenses do not automatically license the displayed data or robot assets.
Permission requests
Contact your existing HIYIO business representative for uses of HIYIO-controlled material outside these terms. Obtain source permissions directly from the relevant rights holder. Keep the license version supplied with each package.
